REFUND POLICY

Effective July 6, 2026

1. General

This document supplements section 6 of the Terms of Service and describes when and how to request a refund for a paid TikLet subscription. Payments and refunds are processed by a third-party payment gateway acting as the seller of record for your purchase (Merchant of Record); the final refund decision rests with it, but we advocate on your behalf through support.

2. Free beta

While the service runs as a free closed beta, no payments are charged and this policy does not apply. It takes effect once paid plans launch.

3. When we'll refund you

Full refund within 14 days of payment if the service fails through our fault and not because of your hardware or internet connection, for example:

  • the license failed to activate due to an error on our side (license server, token issuance);
  • the plan you paid for didn't unlock the features listed on tiklet.app/#pricing;
  • you were charged twice due to a technical glitch (duplicate payment).

4. When we won't refund you

  • More than 14 days have passed since payment.
  • The account was suspended for violating the Terms of Service (section 7): bypassing the license, sharing access with third parties, etc.
  • The service doesn't work because a third-party platform changed (TikTok, YouTube) — this is an explicit limitation of liability under section 9 of the Terms, not our error.
  • You simply changed your mind after actively using the plan — we won't refund the elapsed period, but you can cancel auto-renewal (section 5 of the Terms).

5. Cancelling is not the same as a refund

Cancelling auto-renewal on the monthly plan stops future charges but doesn't refund the period already paid for — access continues until it ends. The Week and 3-month plans are one-time payments and don't auto-renew.

6. How to request a refund

Email support@tiklet.app with subject "Refund" and include: your account email, the payment date and amount, and the reason. We reply within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed by the payment gateway under its own policy — the money goes back the same way you paid; how long it takes to land depends on your bank (typically 5–10 business days).

7. Changes

We may update this policy; the current version is always available on this page with the effective date at the top.
